CBFCA: The Customs Brokers and Forwarders Council of Australia Inc. (CBFCA) represents business and individual service providers within the barrier clearance and international freight forwarding industry. The prime objective of the CBFCA is to represent members interests in the trade logistic service industry and to promote the professional development of its individual members through training and professional development. The CBFCA functions as a peak industry body and voice for importers, exporters, manufacturers and other associated groups concerned with international trade.

Australian Government Services

The Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) is the Australian Government agency that helps Australian companies win overseas business for their products and services by reducing the time, cost and risk involved in selecting, entering and developing international markets. Our mission is to contribute to community wealth by helping more Australians succeed in export and international business. Austrade is a statutory authority within the Foreign Affairs and Trade portfolio. Austrade is governed by a board, whose members are drawn from business and government. It reports to the Minister for Trade.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) is responsible for protecting and advancing Australia's national interests by contributing to international security, national economic and trade performance and global cooperation; maintaining consular and passport services to Australian citizens; projecting a positive and accurate image of Australia internationally; and enhancing public understanding of Australia's foreign and trade policy.

The Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) provides quarantine inspection services for the arrival of international passengers, cargo, mail, animals and plants or their products into Australia, and inspection and certification for a range of animal and plant products exported from Australia.
